Founded in 2017, Highmark Interactive strives to be on the forefront of concussion diagnosis, prevention and management through fun and engaging video games.


Our Mission

Highmark Interactive is passionate about the brain's ability to change and heal itself. We believe in the myriad of evidence that shows that the brain becomes more efficient, faster, and better when the path to improvement is fun!

We're creating fun, engaging games that will educate players, collect a variety of baseline neurologic functional data, and facilitate the brain's healing from injury. 

Over the next few years, Highmark Interactive will begin with treatment of the injured brain, using games to recreate healthy, robust, synaptic pathways. In the healthy brain, we believe we can encourage human augmentation by employing engaging video games that will develop entirely new synaptic pathways, and an overall increased utilization of existing pathways.

Not Just Fun and Games

  • Highmark Interactive's initial focus is on developing entertaining games that facilitate the collection of normative neurologic functional data that will provide us with the insights to develop our games focused on treatment and augmentation.
  • These initial efforts will also provide a solid platform to dramatically increase the understanding and awareness of our player base around concussion presentation, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Highmark Interactive will redefine digital therapy from its current position of simple behaviour modification to technology that directly stimulates the neural network of the Central Nervous System.
  • Our games will leverage the inherent neuroplasticity of the human brain to stimulate neuron activity. In essence re-training the brain, leading to re-establishing the wiring that was present in the healthy brain to re-enable full neurocognitive function.
